Identification of Active Compound from Mitragyna speciosa Leave as Antiinflammation Agent: In Silico Study.
نویسندگان
چکیده
The study aims to identify the most responsible compound for antiinflammation activity from Mitragyna speciosa leaves. Seventeen compounds previously reported have been isolated leave were virtually screened against human 5-lipoxygenase protein and analyzed according their binding energies. native ligand used was arachidonic acid, mitragynine found be strongest (Pubchem ID: 3034396). In addition, ADMET profiling shows that not violating Lipinski’s rule of five toxic.

Subchronic toxicity study of standardized methanolic extract of Mitragyna speciosa Korth in Sprague-Dawley Rats
Mitragyna speciosa Korth, or better known as ketum, has long been used by traditional folk around Southeast Asia to prevent fatigue from working under hot tropical weather and as a replacement of opium, which can then cause addiction. To date, no findings have been reported of the toxic effect of ketum subchronically (28 days). Hence, the aim of this study was to investigate the toxicity of sub...

Cannabinoids and opioids systems share numerous pharmacological properties and antinociception is one of them. Previous findings have shown that mitragynine (MG), a major indole alkaloid found in Mitragyna speciosa (MS) can exert its antinociceptive effects through the opioids system. In the present study, the action of MG was investigated as the antinociceptive agent acting on Cannabinoid rece...

The leaves of a tropical plant, Mitragyna speciosa KORTH (Rubiaceae), have been traditionally used as a substitute for opium. Phytochemical studies of the constituents of the plant growing in Thailand and Malaysia have led to the isolation of several 9-methoxy-Corynanthe-type monoterpenoid indole alkaloids, including new natural products. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by s...
